Among the Orchard — Foggy Pecan Trees in New Mexico

A winter fog settles into a pecan orchard in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico, reducing rows of trees to silhouettes, layers, and disappearing shapes.

Photographed in black and white, *Among the Orchard* explores the quiet geometry of the orchard as morning light begins to break through the fog. The foreground trees remain dark and rooted while the landscape behind them slowly dissolves into mist.
